“Food and produce imports from Russia and Belarus keep generating large profits for local producers and businesses as well as for state coffers,” said MP Piotr Głowski, reading out the resolution during a parliamentary debate on Thursday.

“It is our moral obligation to stop trade that may directly or indirectly contribute to strengthening the ability of Russia and its ally Belarus to continue the war against Ukraine,” he added.
